Blumhouse presents

Image Blumhouse has long established itself as one of the key players in the horror genre, but Jason Bloom's studio does not intend to limit itself to full-length films. A series based on the Doomsday franchise is already in the works, and Blumhouse plans to have a horror anthology for the online service Hulu and a mini-series Ghoul for Netflix.

As the portal Deadline managed to find out, the NBC channel will now join the partners of the production company. Together with Blumhouse, the network will produce the horror-drama Cul-De-Sac ("Dead End" *), which could later become part of an entire TV franchise called Blumhouse Presents ("Blumhouse Presents" *). The idea for the new series belongs to screenwriter Brian Seave ("Scream") and director Larissa Kondratsky ("The Walking Dead", "Better Call Saul").

The show will revolve around three families from the suburbs. Terrible events begin to happen in their lives, and the heroes realize that something ominous threatens to destroy their ideal American dream.

The name of the new brand is associated with the anthology "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", published from 1955 to 1965. However, in it, each episode was a separate story, while the joint brainchild of Blumhouse and NBC, rather, will be filmed according to the principle of "American Horror Story", when the characters and plot change from season to season.
