New ”Killing Holidays” are coming
Today was rich in surprises for fans of the horror genre. Following the news of the reboot of the HellRaiser franchise, rumors spread throughout Hollywood about the start of work on the sequel to the black comedy Killer Vacation.Eli Craig's original film was released in 2010. In the center of its plot were simple village guys Tucker (Alan Tudik) and Dale (Tyler Lubin), who bought a house on the shore of a picturesque lake. Rest in the lap of nature turned into a real nightmare when a group of incredibly stupid students mistook the main characters of the story for bloody maniacs ... The film has collected a rich harvest of awards from famous horror festivals and has earned a cult status among film fans. A significant contribution to the film's treasury was made by USA viewers, who left about $ 3 million at the box office of cinemas. Unfortunately, this amount was not enough for the horror movie to reach the level of self-sufficiency.  It seems that the filmmakers still managed to find funds to create a sequel. “We are currently developing something based on Slaughter Vacation,” admitted Tyler Lubin. -We have a feeling that this story deserves to be continued. We undertake this project solely for the sake of our fans, because it will not be one of those on which you can make big money”. The actor hinted that this is not necessarily about making a full-length film. It is possible that "Slaughter Vacation" will continue in the form of a comic book, short film or television series.
