Young British company Bad Penny Productions will send moviegoers on a journey through one of the most exotic countries in Southeast Asia. As it became known to the publication Deadline, the management of an independent studio acquired the rights to film the book by Lawrence Osborne "Hunters in the Dark".The main character of the work is the 28-year-old English teacher Robert Grieve, who decided to escape from civilization and start a quiet and peaceful life in the jungles of Cambodia. As soon as the protagonist arrived in the tourist Mecca, he was embroiled in a series of emergencies involving an insidious American, the adorable daughter of a wealthy doctor, a bag of damned money and a car with a trunk full of heroin ... The novel was published in 2015 and has received rave reviews from literary critics and recognized classics of the psychological thriller genre.
