Beauty requires sacrifice
The young British film company Luna Features decided to create its own answer to the Hollywood hit "The Devil Wears Prada". Deadline reports that the London studio has acquired the film rights to Rosie Nixon's best-selling The Stylist.The main character of the book is a fashion boutique employee Amber Green, who accidentally got an interview with the famous stylist Mona Armstrong. The girl gets her dream job and prepares to plunge into the carefree world of luxury of the Dream Factory. To Amber's surprise, the reality turns out to be far from the picture drawn in her imagination. Soon Green is embroiled in an endless series of scandals, gossip and intrigue involving insane Hollywood starlets ... Nixon is well acquainted with the world of fashion and glamor, since she is the editor-in-chief of the famous glossy magazine Hello. The Stylist entered the shelves of British bookstores in 2016. The novel is currently being prepared for publication in the United States, and Rosie is in full swing working on its sequel.  The adaptation of the book for the big screen will be done by Karen McCulla ("10 Reasons I Hate"). Luna Features head Francesca Dutton will be responsible for producing.
