Rebecca Bloomwood is fluent in Gucci language. In order not to lose her skill, she devotes a lot of time to practice, which is not at all difficult when living in New York. Manhattan – a shopping paradise, where Rebecca is surrounded by the warmth and caress of caring mannequins and helpful salespeople. Her world consists of endless colors and splendor, her shops – this is her most passionate love and affection. Rebecca Bloomwood – shopaholic (only shh, she's not ready to admit it).

Shopping – it's fine! But Rebecca (Isla Fisher) writes about gardening, and only dreams of working with the topic of haute couture. This ocean of chic, in which she so would like to drown. It turns out to be much easier to drown in debt than to line the red carpet to your dream. And if earlier she could be afraid of being late for the opening of the sale, now fear has a face - Derek Smith, debt collection agent. Hiding from his gray suit and cold gaze due to nondescript glasses, Rebecca begins frantically looking for work. Ironically (or through the fault of an evening in the company of tequila and best friend), she ends up in an economic magazine.

Luke Brandon (Hugh Dempsey) is the editor-in-chief and a recognized handsome man rolled into one. Unbeknownst to him, he competes with shopping in the eyes of Rebecca, and she is torn between two attachments. However, Luke has his own ambitions, he dreams of creating a brand from his own name, while Rebecca only thinks about how to get to the editorial office without getting stuck in one of the shining stores.

Since the movie is in first of all about the love of clothes, then Patricia Field can be considered one of the main characters. It was she who dressed the heroines of Sex and the City. The Devil Wears Prada.

This time in her hands was Isla Fisher, a heroine who, although she can call herself an ordinary city girl, is still a supporter of high fashion. For almost the first time, long sighs and attentive glances do not fall on shoes, all attention goes to the scarf. Rebecca Bloomwood is hiding behind the pseudonym Girl in the Green Scarf, unwilling to be featured in an economic publication, and has already sprouted the beginnings of journalism in the gardening theme.

Waging a real battle for a pair of fashionable boots or making every possible effort to refuse a purchase, Rebecca tries to stay afloat and survive in a bustling city of constant expenses and temptations. doing it with healthy optimism and a radiant smile.

The bestsellers of English writers fit very well on movie, and over and over again the same movie appears on the screen, which one could imagine reading a book. From Bridget to Harry Potter – the story of the little English characters turns out to be extremely attractive.
