Paramount Films A Comic About A Demigod Boy
Paramount Film Studio intends to movie a graphic novel by Paul Pope called "Battling Boy". This is reported by the Variety edition. The director of the animated short movie "The Feast" Patrick Osborne, whose work was awarded the "Oscar" in 2015. The comic, published in 2013, takes place in the fictional city of Acropolis, besieged by monsters and demons. After the death of the main defender of the city, the only hope of its inhabitants is the 12-year-old demigod Battlin Boy. Following the success of the original novel, two prequels, "The Death of Haggard West" and "The Rise of Aurora West," were published, dedicated to Haggard West and his daughter Aurora. Paramount Film Studio acquired the rights to the work in 2008, but only now the movie adaptation has been given the green light. It is not yet known whether we are talking about an animation project or a feature movie. Note that Patrick Osborne has also worked on such popular animation projects as City of Heroes, Rapunzel: A Tangled Story, Ralph and many others.
