”Nimona” adaptation received studio and director
Fox Animation will be engaged in a full-length adaptation of the web comic Nimona by Noel Stevenson, reports the Tracking Board . The works of Noel enjoy a certain popularity in USA, and the artist herself is one of the best young creators in this field, who can later become new classics.The comic takes place in a world reminiscent of a hybrid of the Middle Ages and steampunk, with its kings, knights, witches and werewolves. The main character is a werewolf girl Nimona , who helps a former knight and now a supervillain scientist named Ballister Blackheart to punish his enemies. To adapt the source for the big screen was entrusted to Mark Hames (he previously worked for the studio as a producer), and Patrick Osborne, who won this year's Oscar for Best Animated Short Film, is in the director's chair. ...
