Image Indochina Productions will send viewers back to the 70s of the last century on the picturesque peninsula of Indochina. A Thai company is filming a memoir by war correspondent John Swain.

The novel "River of Time" was released in 1997 and has received flattering reviews from critics. Swain was 22 years old when he was sent to Indochina to cover the Vietnam War and the coup d'etat in Cambodia. The Sunday Times journalist spent five years on the front lines, witnessing many acts of heroism, courage and self-sacrifice.

In 1984, Swain became a minor character in the military drama Killing Fields, which earned seven Oscar nominations. Julian Sands portrayed the British soldier in Roland Joffe's film.
