The filmmakers don't want to leave the HellRaiser franchise alone. The 1987 horror was followed by nine sequels, directed by various directors, and now Spyglass Entertainment is planning a relaunch of the original film. David S. Restarting the cult '80s horror game will be a daunting task for Goyer. He will have to tell in a new way an old story that became successful thanks to Barker's unconventional vision. At the same time, the restart should appeal not only to the modern audience, but also to fans of the old school horror film. However, this does not scare the screenwriter, because this is not the first time he will have to write a dark plot. His most famous work was Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy.
