Spyglass will shoot a remake of Hellraiser
Studio Spyglass intends to re-launch the popular in the past "HellRaiser" franchise, the creator of which was Clive Barker. According to Deadline. the scriptwriter and producer of the remake is David S. Goyer. Note that over the three decades of its existence, the franchise has spawned ten full-length movies, many graphic novels, and became the basis for numerous product lines. The original movie was based on the novel by Barker and told the story of Frank, who, with the help of an old puzzle, opens the door to another dimension and encounters sinister Senobits, creatures from hell who bring sadomasochistic pleasures to those who summon them. The most famous of these is Pinhead. Years later, Frank's brother Larry moves into his abandoned house with his new wife, Julia. Accidentally, he contributes to the return of Frank from the "other world", but in order to regain the body, the latter needs sacrifices. In this he is helped by Julia, who had an affair with Frank in the past. The original 1987 movie has become one of the most popular projects in its genre.
