The extraordinary congress of the Union of Cinematographers of USA will take place on March 30-31 at Gostiny Dvor in Moscow, according to Nikita Mikhalkov's statement, which was read by actor and director Mikhail Porechenkov at a special press conference. At the congress, new governing bodies of the Union will be elected and a report on the work done will be presented. Porechenkov himself intends to run for the chair of the Union of Cinematographers.
