Marlen Khutsiev will challenge the results of the Congress of Filmmakers
Director Marlen Khutsiev plans to challenge in court the results of the extraordinary congress of the Union of Cinematographers, held on March 30-31 in Moscow. According to Khutsiev's lawyer, information is being collected about violations committed at the congress, and in 7-10 days a claim will be ready. Recall that the congress re-approved Nikita Mikhalkov as chairman of the Union of Cinematographers. Earlier at the seventh congress, Khutsiev himself was elected to this post, however, later this decision was recognized by the court as illegitimate.
