There will be no Bruce Lee Museum in Hong Kong
The Hong Kong authorities abandoned the idea to open a museum of the legendary martial artist and movie star Bruce Lee in the house where the actor lived in recent years and died. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the government for two years has not been able to settle all disputes with the current owner of the building. The latter insisted not only on the complete restoration of the two-story mansion, but also on the construction of a new building next to it with an area more than 20 thousand square feet, in which he intended to place part of the museum exhibits, as well as open cinemas, a martial arts academy and an archive. These ideas did not find support from the authorities, since the area in which Bruce lived Lee, sparsely populated, and such a construction would be very difficult to recoup.
