According to The Hollywood Reporter, the company took advantage of the 11th chapter of the American bankruptcy code, which allows restructure debt and postpone payments to creditors. Digital Domain also agreed to sell all of its US and Canadian assets to Searchlight Capital Partners. The deal will amount to only $ 15 million.
