Employees of companies involved in the creation of special effects for Hollywood movies intend to protest during the Oscar 2013 ceremony. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The purpose of the event is to draw the attention of the movie industry to an ineffective business model, which actually puts many small studios on the brink of survival.

The organizers of the action rented a light-engine aircraft, which will fly over the red carpet with a banner attached to it that reads: `` Box Office + Bankruptcy=Special Effects. ''

“We're not going to disrespect anyone. We just want to draw the attention of movie studios to the fact that they are driving their racehorses to death. '' - commented artist Dave Rand from Rhythm & Hues.

Recall that this studio filed for bankruptcy immediately after receiving many prestigious prizes for creating special effects for the movie Life of Pi.
