NBC Presents First AD Trailer
NBC has released the first trailer for the upcoming "AD" series, which is a sequel to the 2013 miniseries "The Bible" by executive producers Roma Downey and Mark Barnett. This is reported by the ComingSoon edition. The twelve-part television project will begin with scenes of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, after which the viewers will be presented with a chronology of events that took place in the next decade. The difficult birth of a new church was a time filled with incredible faith, persecution, political intrigue, brutal oppression by the Romans and desperate resistance of the Jewish people. The story in the TV series "AD" will be shown through the eyes of the apostles, Pontius Pilate, Caiaphas, Jewish fanatics and Herod's family.
