Director of the Body will direct a movie about the resurrection of Jesus Christ
Inspired by the success of Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ Producer Bill McKay intends to start producing a movie called The Resurrection. But, according to the Variety edition, the plot will be built not only around the Savior himself, but also around his main persecutors - the high priest Caiaphas, Pontius Pilate, King Herod and the traitor Judas. According to the producer, he seeks to make a movie in the spirit of a gladiator, so that viewers can see not only the biblical drama, but also the political situation in the region in the first century AD.
