Sony Pictures TV and NBC will be movieing a television sequel to the 2014 feature movie "Heaven Is Real," based on Pastor Todd Burpo's bestselling book of the same name. The movie, produced by TriStar / Sony on a budget of $ 12 million, grossed over $ 100 million worldwide. This is reported by the publication Deadline.

The TV project will be based on the new book by Todd and Sonya Burpo "Heaven Changes Everything", which is a sequel to the novel "Heaven is Real". The hour-long drama, scripted by Randy Brown (Twisted Ball), tells the story of a provincial pastor who must find the strength and faith to lead his congregation after hearing of his son in Heaven during coma, begins to attract the attention of the whole world.
