2016 KinoNews Award Nominees Announced
Nominees for one of the most prestigious USA movie awards "KinoNews 2016" are presented. Star Wars: Episode 7 - The Force Awakens, Spy Bridge, Mad Max 4: Fury Road, The Survivor and The Martian will compete for the victory in the main category "Best Film". "The Dawns Here Are Quiet ...", "Battalion", "About Love", "Battle for Sevastopol" and "He is a Dragon" will claim the title of "best" among USA movie projects. Best Director nomination includes Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu (The Survivor), George Miller (Mad Max 4: Fury Road), Quentin Tarantino (The Hateful Eight), Ridley Scott (The Martian) and Stephen Spielberg ("Spy Bridge"). Among the USA directors, the five leaders were Sergei Mokritsky ("Battle for Sevastopol"), Stanislav Govorukhin ("The End of a Beautiful Epoch"), Indar Dzhendubaev ("He is a Dragon"), Anna Melikyan ("About Love") and Renat Davletyarov (" And the dawns here are quiet ... "). Sean the Sheep, Puzzle, The Good Dinosaur, Monsters on Vacation 2 and The Little Prince will compete for awards in the Best Animated Film category. In the nomination "Best TV series" were "Game of Thrones", "House of Cards", "Daredevil", "Walking Dead" and "Ash vs. Evil Dead".
