BAFTA Film Award nominees have been announced in London. Stephen Fry and Gugu Mbata-Rowe announced the nominees for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards . The favorites of British academics this year were Todd Haynes' drama Carol and Steven Spielberg's thriller Spy Bridge , each of which received nine nominations. "The Survivor" Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu was given a chance to win eight awards. The 69th British Oscars will take place on February 14 at Theater Royal, Covent Garden in London. Stephen Fry will host the event for the 11th time in his life.
