The 69th BAFTA Film Awards took place at Royal Theater, Covent Garden in London. The nominees for British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced a little over a month ago. For the 11th time, the ceremony was hosted by actor and writer Stephen Fry. Usually the BAFTA award is called the European equivalent of the Oscar , but not always the winners are the same. Quite often, British film academics rely on dark horses.
