The Mentalist Star will play the villain in Supergirl Pilot (Topic)

The Mentalist star Owain Yeoman will play DC villain Vartox in the pilot of CBS's Supergirl. According to The Wrap, citing a Warner Bros. Television, Yeoman will be a guest.

Vartox is an alien criminal who has been hiding on Earth for twelve years. After Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) arrives on Earth, Vartox searches for her in order to establish her identity and fight her. The character will make his first appearance in a game project.

Yeoman is best known for playing Wayne Rigsby from the CBS series The Mentalist, whom he played for seven seasons. From the actor's recent work on television – "Agent" and "Beyond", and on the big screen – "Sniper".
