Kevin Smith is developing the Sam and Twitch comic series
Kevin Smith ("Tusk") is developing the police drama Sam & Twitch, set in the universe of the Spawn comic by Todd McFarlane. Sarah Barnett, President and CEO of BBC America, told Deadline about this in an interview. "Smith is also the writer, producer and director of the TV series based on the Sam and Twitch comic. The characters were first introduced in comic "Spawn" by Todd McFarlane. This episode was about detectives faced with horrible crimes that have ties to the occult. The comic is quite scary and has a lot of dark humor. The series will be a procedural show, but very modern. Each episode will be a separate story, though, who is movieing his second episode for Season 2 of Supergirl as of this writing, has already directed two episodes of The Flash in 2016. Smith recently announced that he has given up a sequel to his comedy Clerks and a series based on the Supermarket Party People comedy melodrama.
