The iconic screenwriter and director Kevin Smith is determined to make his dream of filming the second part of his comedy Supermarket Party People come true. Work on the continuation of the 1995 tape started last spring. At first, Smith talked about a feature film, but then decided to create an entire television series.According to Collider , Kevin has successfully completed work on the script application for the 10-episode sequel. The director also told his fans via social networks that with the support of the TV department of the studio Universal , his project will be presented to the heads of cable channels and online services in the coming days. Supermarket Party People was the second film in Smith's directorial career . The comedy earned only $ 2.1 million on a budget of $ 6.1 million , but gained immense popularity among moviegoers after its release on video.
