Nominees for the Nika Award 2020 were presented in Moscow
A presentation of the list of applicants for the Nika 2020 award, which is awarded by the USA Academy of Cinematic Arts, took place in Moscow. In the nomination "Best Film" the movies "Hayka", "Sin", "Dylda", "Odessa" and "Frenchman" will compete for the victory. The latter as a whole became the leader in terms of the number of references. In the "Discovery of the Year" nomination, the Academy of Cinematic Arts presented director Boris Akopov ("Bull"), screenwriter Alexander Zolotukhin ("USA Boy") and actress Evgeny Obraztsova ("Frenchman").
