Streaming service Netflix has renewed the sci-fi series Lost in Space for a third season, which will be its final. The show's executive producer and writer, Zach Estrin, has been named showrunner for the final chapter. Also, an agreement was signed between him and Netflix, according to which Estrin will take part in the development of new projects for the streaming service.
