Apple has partnered with Steven Spielberg's Amblin Television to relaunch the hit TV series Amazing Stories. This is reported by The Wrap.

Recall that a sci-fi series about mysterious, fantastic and supernatural events was created by Steven Spielberg and was broadcast on NBC from 1985 to 1987. In total, two seasons have been released. The project did not win a large audience, but it was awarded several Emmy awards. Spielberg himself was awarded for the production of the episode "Mission", in which the then little-known actor Kevin Costner played a pilot during the Second World War. In total, the series had twelve Emmy nominations. The script for the new version of the show will be prepared by Brian Fuller, who previously worked on the series "Hannibal".

Earlier it became known that Apple intends to spend at least a billion dollars within a year on the production of original television content and, as a result, compete with such giants like Netflix, HBO and Hulu. In total, Apple is ready to release at least 10 big-budget TV series a year.
