Another surprise at E3 2018 as part of the Sony conference was the premiere of the remake of the legendary horror - Resident Evil 2. The main news is that the game is in the final stages of development and is preparing for release on January 25, 2019. Fans of the series can breathe a sigh of relief: the first trailer shows how seriously the developers approached the remake of Resident Evil 2 and not only improved the picture, but created the game from scratch, while remaining within the framework of the original horror.
Immediately after the announcement, Capcom shared numerous details of a remake of one of their best games. The main concept of Resident Evil 2 remained unchanged - it is still the same game in which two companies will be available: one for Leon and the other for Claire, thanks to which players will be able to look at events in the game from different points of view.
Resident Evil 2 Remake fully complies with all modern standards in graphics and animation. RE Engine was taken as the graphics engine, with the help of which the project will have photorealistic graphics, since the image of absolutely all objects in the game will be scanned from real objects. Additionally, it is noted that zombies will become the most terrifying in the Resident Evil series. Their bodies react realistically to gunshot wounds, and blood will flow from the gaping bullet holes in real time.
The completely redesigned protagonists, as you can see from the Resident Evil 2 trailer, should refresh the series. And together with the modern production, graphics and cutscenes, it will allow you to take a fresh look at the classics of the gaming industry.
Resident Evil 2 will visit all current gaming platforms: Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Also don't miss another announcement from Capcom - Devil May Cry 5, which is also slated for release in the first quarter of next year.
