LG Velvet revealed in mid-May

Korean company LG has announced a new line of smartphones called Velvet. This was preceded by the appearance on the network of several high quality images of the device.

The manufacturer does not hide that the main stake in these models is made on design. Koreans believe that the original appearance of the novelty will win the hearts of users due to the fact that the market is flooded with monotonous devices.

The LG Velvet features an elongated, metal-bezel design with an aspect ratio of about 21: 9 and rounded corners, as well as a side-curved display with a selfie camera opening in the upper left corner.

The main camera will receive three separate sensors and an LED element. They are all cut into the back panel and are vertically oriented relative to each other.

The device also relies on a sub-screen fingerprint scanner and an eight-core Snapdragon 765G processor. Nobody has confirmed this data yet, but insiders believe they are accurate.

According to them, LG Velvet will be announced on May 15.

Users are not happy with the Exynos processor in Samsung smartphones

Users of Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones began to express their dissatisfaction with the Korean manufacturer about the abnormal (in their opinion) operation of the Exynos 990 processor installed there. Based on this, they even drew up a petition in which they indicate that this model is in the USA comes with the latest Snapdragon chips and is sold with the Korean chipset in most other countries.

In particular, many are dissatisfied with the operation of the smartphone camera. She has problems with autofocus. Also, users complain about the rapid discharge of the battery and its overheating during a short time of camera operation.

A video has become almost viral on the Internet in which the owner of the Galaxy S20 Ultra is trying to focus the camera image on an object located next to the device. He just can't do it. In this regard, the company's customers offer Samsung to abandon the installation of Exynos 990 processors.

Users also note that many of their models are not equipped with 5G modems. Therefore, heating cannot be triggered by their functioning.

So far, Samsung has not received any comments on this, except for one. It states that all processors from this manufacturer (including Snapdragon and Exynos) undergo the same testing before use.

HONOR 30 lineup will be supplemented with one more model

Tomorrow the company HONOR will present a number of its new products, among which there will be devices from the 30 line. It is already known that it will definitely include the HONOR 30 and 30 Pro devices, but recently it became known about the presence of another model in the series - HONOR 30 Pro +.

This was confirmed by the distribution on the network of photos taken with the camera of this smartphone. One of the images demonstrates the capabilities of the night mode. The second shot was taken in the daytime. It shows the device's ultra-fast autofocus capabilities.

Insiders took an interest in this data and quickly determined that the HONOR 30 Pro will be equipped with a quad camera with a 50MP Sony IMX700 main sensor and a periscope lens for optical zoom.

The smartphone will also receive a Kirin 990 processor, speakers with stereo sound, wired and wireless memory.

How this modification differs from the Pro + version is not installed yet.

Lenovo Budget Device with Powerful Battery

Lenovo's segment of inexpensive devices has expanded with another model - Lenovo A7.

The device received a 6.09-inch display with a waterdrop notch for a 5-megapixel front camera. In the upper left corner of its rear panel there are two sensors of the main camera. They received a resolution of 13 and 2 megapixels. The device supports 12 types of scene recognition technology using AI algorithms.

For security of access, the device is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which is built into its cover.

The "heart" of the smartphone is the eight-core Unisoc SC9863 processor (1.6 GHz). The PowerVR IMG8322 / GE8322 chip is responsible for the graphics.

The capabilities of the device's battery should be noted separately. Here she received a 4000 mAh capacity. The manufacturer claims that on a single charge the device can work about 416 hours in standby mode or 10 hours of continuous playback of music files.

No other product specifications have been reported. Insiders claim that the retail price of the Lenovo A7 will be $ 130.
