In honor of Monster Hunter World's victory at the TGA 2018 in the Best Role-Playing Game of the Year nomination, Capcom decided to give away the game for free to everyone on consoles. True, this is only a demo version, but not bad either. Especially for those players who wanted to buy Monster Hunter World, but weren't sure if they would like the game and generally worth buying. Nevertheless, Japanese gaming has its own special, indescribable specifics.

The Monster Hunter World demo is only available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One until December 18th, so we recommend you hurry up. The developers also noted that all game content up to level 4 and online modes will be available in the demo, and all progress made will be transferred to the full game, if after the trial version you want to download the full-fledged Monster Hunter World.

In addition, Capcom announced the Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter World, in which the main character will be (surprise) the witcher Geralt of Rivia. How did the hero of the Polish series of games The Witcher manage to get into the universe of the Japanese project Monster Hunter? The explanation is very simple - portals that completely untie the hands of creating cross-universes with the witcher in the lead role. It is not surprising that Geralt does not like these very portals.

The add-on is being developed in close cooperation with the CD Project and is being prepared for release in the fall of 2019, first on consoles, and in a few months for owners of the PC version. If you have a bad idea of what kind of beast Monster Hunter World is, then we suggest that you familiarize yourself with our review and history of the Monster Hunter series.
