AMS recently talked about new light and proximity sensors that will significantly reduce the size of the TrueDepth camera. It applies to the 2019 iPhone.

This will reduce the screen cutout of these Apple devices.

The new sensors are capable of sensing ambient light that passes through the OLED display. The operation of the pixels of the display itself will not in any way affect the activity of the sensors of the Austrian company.

Despite such opportunities, insiders agree that Apple will not completely abandon cutouts in the screens of its gadgets. Although small, they will retain their frames.

New processor for Xiaomi gaming smartphone

In April last year, the Black Shark smartphone was announced, which became the company's first gaming device. A few months later, they showed its advanced version, which has 10 GB of "RAM" and 256 GB of internal memory.

A few days ago, it became known about the development of the third reincarnation of the device from Xiaomi - Black Shark Skywalker.

Insiders have got hold of information about testing this device on the Geekbench benchmark. This structure resulted in some of the technical characteristics of the smartphone. It was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 8GB of RAM.

The product scored 3494 in single-core mode and 11149 in multi-core.

This chipset was the first device to score over 10,000 units in testing. Previously, only Yabloko smartphones with A11 Bionic and A12 Bionic processors crossed this line.

Features of the new OnePlus

After the New Year holidays, all collectors of interesting technical information became more active. This is clear. Each of the insiders wants to actively declare themselves, get the most exclusive data. Fortunately, there are opportunities for this. One of these specialists, Ice Univerce, obtained information about testing the internal storage of one of the OnePlus devices.

The image shows that data can be transferred at speeds in excess of 1800 MB / s. This is in the case of sequential writes, and when reading, it is almost 2300 MB / s.

Experts, after analyzing this information, have come to the conclusion that the new OnePlus smartphone will be the first product to be equipped with third-generation flash memory.

A new type of standard - UFS 3.0 almost doubles device performance compared to the previous UFS 2.1.

But that's not all. The transition to this standard improves the energy efficiency of gadgets. It requires a voltage of 2.5 V. UFS 2.1 for normal operation "requires" from 2.7 to 3.6 V.

The first Redmi product

Tomorrow, the first smartphone of the now independent brand Redmi will be announced. They say that it will be Redmi Pro 2, Redmi 7 Pro or Redmi 7. But all this is at the level of rumors. One of the sites has published information about Redmi X.

A whole page is dedicated to him. The full technical data of the device is not stated, but there are some details. It will be equipped with a main chamber consisting of a paired module. The main lens received a resolution of 48 megapixels. There is a flash under it. On the back you can see the fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone has a 6.3-inch screen. It was protected with 2.5D glass, which will not allow damage even as a result of high pressure on the device. It is tempered glass with increased hardness.

The product is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, there is a USB Type-C port.

At the initial stage, the smartphone will be sold in three colors. Cases are available in black, blue and pink. Sales date and price are not yet known.
