Xiaomi has presented two replacements for the recently released Redmi Note 8 Pro, which was released just a few months earlier. The announced new smartphones Xiaomi - the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max models have got a new design, cameras with improved characteristics and capacious batteries. At the same time, the senior novelty Redmi Note 9 Pro Max also acts as a replacement for the entire Mi Max family, as reported by company representatives. Similarities and differences between devicesThe manufacturer decided to arrange a presentation of smartphones in India. The two new flagships of Xiaomi are almost the same - smartphones look similar, have the same screens, batteries and processors. The main differences are associated with the capabilities of photo modules, characteristics of high-speed charging, which in turn determined their different cost.
Conceptually, the design of Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max is expressed in the updated (for this line) design of the cameras and the presence of glass with rounded corners covering the back of the case. Up front, smartphones have a 6.67-inch IPS display with a 60 Hz refresh rate. The screen supports the Full HD + standard, the color space coverage is 84%. The top is protected by a proprietary Gorilla Glass 5 coating.
The flagships are based on an eight-core Snapdragon 720G chip with overclocking up to 2.3 GHz, supplemented by Adreno 618 graphics. The operating module is represented by LPDDR4X, the internal memory is UFS 2.1. The devices are powered by a 5020 mAh battery. The devices support GSM, 3G and LTE networks, work with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies, have a fingerprint scanner (on the right side of the case), a standard audio input and a separate infrared port for remote control of various equipment.
