According to some assumptions that were expressed earlier, the new product should receive the name Redmi X, although this was later denied by one of the company's top managers. On the mobile market, the new Redmi will be presented under the name Redmi K20 Pro, which is indirectly confirmed by the photo of the protective shell of the future gadget, where this name is indicated. On the Chinese social site Weibo, an image of the screen protection of the display of the flagship Xiaomi novelty appeared in the public domain, which indicates not only the exact name of the smartphone, but also some of its characteristics.
Judging by the picture, the 6.39-inch Redmi K20 Pro will indeed receive a powerful latest generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset as a base. The processor is complemented by an Adreno 640 graphics chip and an X20 LTE modem with support for 4G networks. The AMOLED screen has an integrated optical fingerprint sensor. In addition, it became known that the new Redmi smartphone, positioned as a "killer" of other competing flagships, will be equipped with a triple main photo module with a total resolution of 48 MP. The flagship is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging support.
