The Chinese company Xiaomi continues to capture the niche of budget smartphones with flagship stuffing. The new product of the company may be a smartphone Xiaomi of the Redmi family, although it was previously assumed that it would be the Pocophone F2 model. The new smartphone will be one of the cheapest flagship devices with Qualcomm's state-of-the-art Snapdragon 855 chipset. The modern smartphone market offers not so many options for devices based on the top-end Snapdragon 855 processor. Among them are the premium (including the price) Samsung S10, the LG G8 ThinQ device, the Mi 9 model again from Xiaomi and has not yet been officially announced OnePlus 7. Judging by the image presented on the network, one of the basic differences of the upcoming Redmi Pro 2 is the absolute absence of screen cutouts for the front photo module. The smartphone's selfie camera is housed in a separate slide-out compartment. A similar solution is used in the Vivo Nex S 2018 release.
In addition to its unusual location, the Pro 2's front camera is also high-resolution, according to published data. Its module can be 48 MP. The same photomodule is possessed by the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and the flagship Mi 9. The main camera of the upcoming novelty will receive three sensors, the parameters of which were not disclosed in the published "leak". Presumably, the new Redmi smartphone with a 6.4-inch Full HD + screen will receive a 4000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. The base assembly has 6 and 64 GB of RAM and internal memory, respectively. The device is credited with the Android 9 Pie operating system. Xiaomi continues the tradition of launching budget mobile devices with premium components. The company already has such experience - last year the manufacturer introduced the Xiaomi smartphone of the Pocophone F1 model, powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 845 processor by that time. Its cost was almost twice as different from analogues of other brands.
