Programmers have found a vulnerability in MDM and DEP tools, designed specifically for corporate companies that remotely configure their employees' poppies. The toolkit works as follows: the user connects his Macbook to Wi-Fi and under the conditions that the serial number of the computer matches the company's identification number, the download of specialized software and setting up the program interface automatically starts.  However, Apple did not take into account one point: when MDM and DEP download corporate software to the MacBook, the programs do not require a certificate of authenticity, which hackers can use and change the source from which the data is loaded. In this case, malware may be installed on the MacBook instead of corporate applications. According to Jesse Endal, the computer will be infected with viruses even before the OS desktop boots. Apple representatives quickly responded to the discovered bug and the next day released a fix for macOS High Sierra 10.13.6. But for users of computers with an earlier version of the OS, the threat of hacking by hackers using MDM and DEP tools is still relevant. The latest revision of the MacBook seems to be pursued by "bad fate", for example, many computer owners discovered a problem with the cooling system, which was fixed by Apple in one of the OS updates.
