Most users will love the Galaxy Tab S6 for its compact size. Its dimensions are 245 ? 160 ? 5.7 mm and weighs only 420 grams, allowing you to place the device in almost any bag.

At the same time, it is comfortable enough to hold in one hand. This is facilitated by the availability of sufficient free space in the area of the screen.

This gadget is a direct competitor to the iPad Pro, so it makes sense to compare them. The downside of the "Korean" will be the lack of modifications with different screens, but there is also a definite plus. It consists in the use of aluminum in the manufacture of the product body. This material is not brittle, which gives an operational advantage. In the event of a possible fall, the device will remain intact.

One more nuance is interesting. For attaching the S Pen to the back of the tablet, at the top of the tablet, there is a special notch. There, the stylus will not interfere in the absence of a need for it. Fastening is carried out by means of special magnets. There is a similar notch in the stand case. It can also replenish energy there.

The Galaxy Tab S6 features a 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display with a 2560 ? 1600 resolution and a pixel density of 287 ppi. The aspect ratio here is 16:10.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor in the device works in conjunction with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory.

The tablet display is bright and beautiful. Thanks to its good brightness and contrast characteristics, it allows you to work in any ambient lighting conditions. The content is readable on a sunny day or at night.

Thanks to the HDR10 + functionality, you can get additional contrast when watching videos.

The sound in the gadget is of good quality. This is facilitated by the presence of four AKG speakers. The sound is clean and dynamic.

Initial keyboard experience can leave a double impression. On the one hand, it has no backlighting, which is not very good. On the other hand, the keystrokes are more natural and pleasant here than, for example, on the Apple counterpart.

The trackpad on the Galaxy Tab S6 works fine. It is worth noting the work of the stylus, which can launch certain actions in certain applications. Working with a camera is an example.

Cameras

Most users will likely only use the front camera of the device frequently. It is relevant when making video calls, which are pleasant to do, given the size of the gadget's screen. The result is good quality shooting, but only in good lighting conditions. Insufficient light output increases graininess.

Photos taken with the main camera look good. They are detailed and colorful, sometimes even more saturated. The wide-angle lens makes it possible to increase the field of view of the camera. This expands the photo capabilities of the product, making the resulting colors more natural.

Photo quality degrades at night, but remains acceptable.

Performance and autonomy

This tablet can't have bad performance. The main reason for this is the use of one of the most advanced processors of the time - the Snapdragon 855, which is installed on most modern flagship Android devices. Also, this indicator for the better is affected by the presence of a sufficient amount of RAM.

The test results show the same: AnTuTu 3DBench - 352,209 points; 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme - 4819 Vulkan, 5395 OpenGL. We can say that these results are even slightly underestimated, and in fact the device works quickly and without any complaints.

The battery life of the Galaxy Tab S6 is above average when compared with its counterparts. Provided that non-power-hungry applications and lightweight toys are used, the tablet computer can function for almost an entire day. This data coincides with the manufacturer's assurances of 15 hours of battery life on a single charge. In this indicator, the device outperforms its competitor iPad Pro.

There is evidence on the Internet that the Korean tablet PC can play video content for 11 hours and 1 minute. The iPad Pro's battery lasted just over 6 hours under the same conditions.

The Galaxy Tab S6 will need at least two hours near a power outlet to replenish its charge from 0 to 100%.
