Having finally made sure of the correctness of the chosen strategy after the success of Beauty and the Beast, Disney studio is ready to actively develop other projects based on its famous cartoons. It is already known that Guy Ritchie will lead the shooting of the full-length game remake of " Aladdin ", but the biggest challenge lies in finding an actor who can replace Robin Williams, who voiced Genie in the 1992 animation film.As Deadline found out, Disney bosses are now close to finding a replacement for Williams in the game version. Negotiations with the studio to play the Genie are being conducted by Will Smith , despite the fact that the actor recently turned down the lead role in the Dumbo remake. It is reported that "Aladdin" Guy Ritchie will be a musical, and Disney is currently holding public auditions for the role of Aladdin b>and princess Jasmine . Most likely, the characters will be embodied by little-known actors, which means that the studio management wants Genie to be played by a representative of the Hollywood echelon of stars.  Filming for the remake is set to begin this summer, after Richie on King Arthur hits theaters. As for Smith , he will appear in the fantasy action movie Brightness this year. Also in the plans of the actor is the triquel "Bad Boys", although after the departure of director Joe Carnahan, the fate of the project was in jeopardy.
