Schwarzenegger may be the villain of the DC Universe again
Watch out for spoilers! In a recent interview, Jason Momoa admitted that he was forced to hide information from journalists for several years about getting the role of Aquaman in the DC cinematic universe. The creation of the superhero franchise is going on in an atmosphere of such high secrecy that lately comic book fans have to extract at least some information about the upcoming projects of Warner Bros. from the social networks of movie stars and studio bosses. At first, fans noticed that several heads of the DC Films department became readers of Joe Manganiello's twitter. Subsequently, it became known that the actor got the role of Deathstroke in the upcoming Batman solo album. Last week, there was also a rumor that Hailey Bennett would be the new cast member for Catwoman , but this has yet to be confirmed. Now the Comicbook edition has noticed that over the past couple of days, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been signed by the head of DC Films Jeff Jones and the director of the movie comic strip Miracle woman "Patty Jenkins. The Internet immediately suggested that Iron Arnie could get the role of the god of war Ares in the MCU DC .  The fact that Ares could become one of the antagonists of " Wonder Woman " was first discussed back in September 2015, when Sean Bean was actively wooed for this role. The main shooting period of the blockbuster lasted from November 2015 to May 2016, but during this time the paparazzi never managed to see a single actor whose appearance would resemble the image of the god of war. Last month, Ares hit the spotlight again when the French magazine Studio Cine Live published an article claiming that the bloodthirsty Olympian god would turn out to be the film's secret villain. Now there is reason to suspect that the scenes with Schwarzenegger may have been filmed in November last year, when Jenkins was sent off for two weeks of additional filming.< Arnold already has experience filming in film adaptations of DC comics. Twenty years ago, he portrayed Mr. Freeze in Batman & Robin, which nearly ended the Dark Knight franchise.
