Universal will piece Javier Bardem together
Studio Universal has already got such Hollywood actors as Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe and Johnny Depp into their cinematic universe of monsters, and now Javier Bardem is preparing to join this stellar company. The information site Variety writes about this.According to the source, Bardem is negotiating with the studio management to get the role of the monster Frankenstein - a monstrous creature created by the scientist Victor from the remains of human bodies. Presumably, the actor could make his first appearance in The Mummy before famed character Mary Shelley gets his own spin-off. It is curious that the bosses of Universal initially offered Bardem the role of Dr. Jekyll , which after the actor's refusal passed to Russell Crowe. The major also plans to work on "The Invisible Man" with Johnny Depp in the title role, "The Wolf Man" and "Bride of Frankenstein".  As for Bardem himself, he is now busy filming the yet unnamed drama by Darren Aronofsky, and next year the actor will appear on the screens in the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
