Javier Bardem was invited to the movie adaptation of Frankenstein
Universal is in talks with Javier Bardem about the latter's participation in the movie based on the novel by Mary Shelley "Frankenstein". The Variety edition reports about this with reference to its sources of information. At the time of this writing, it was not specified what kind of role in the movie adaptation we are talking about: the scientist Victor Frankenstein or the monster he created himself. Anonymous informants claim that before the release of the solo project, Bardem's hero will have to appear in another Universal movie, part of the franchise she launched, dedicated to the cult villains from the studio's library. It is noteworthy that earlier Bardem received an offer to play in one of the Universal paintings of another well-known character - Doctor Jekyll, but the negotiations were unsuccessful, and Russell Crowe "inherited" the role. The shooting and rental schedules of the new "Frankenstein" were not specified. As for Javier Bardem, in 2017, viewers will be able to see him in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales", in which he played the villain Captain Salazar.
