Over the past three decades, Sundance has grown from a modest event for a small group of indie cinematographers to one of the world's largest film shows. 16 films entered the fight for the title of the best American drama, and 12 films took part in the competition of independent foreign films. In total, 103 films were premiered during the " Sundance - 2017 " During the festival, the creators of many of them managed to conclude deals with distributors and online services.
