Pitch Perfect 3 took a step forward
Pitch Perfect 2 was actress and producer Elizabeth Banks' directorial debut. She planned to lead the shooting of the triquel in the future, but a few months ago Banks abandoned this idea due to the workload of the work schedule, and the director's chair of the project has been empty until now.As the information portal Variety found out, Universal quickly found a replacement for Banks in the person of Trish C . In the filmography of the latter, so far only the melodrama "Step Forward: All or Nothing" is listed, but the director managed to shoot several short films and music videos. First, the first film earned $ 113 million at the world box office with a modest budget of $ 17 million by modern standards, and the sequel managed to raise $ 287.5 million . Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow will return to their roles in the third part, and Kay Cannon is writing the script.
