Happy New Year Mrs. Claus
The bosses of the studio Universal Pictures could not resist the temptation to succumb to the New Year's fever. According to Variety , the Hollywood major has decided to support the production company Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman Brownstone Pictures to work on so far an unnamed Christmas comedy.The main character of the tape will be the wife of Santa Claus , who will have to make a lot of efforts to try to preserve her home on stressful New Year's Eve days. The comedy script will be written by three Emmy winner John Riggy (Studio 30 / 30 Rock ), who will also take over the production functions along with Handelman and Banks . Insiders have yet to say if Elizabeth plans to play Mrs. Klaus and start directing the film.  Banks made his feature-length directorial debut in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect 2. After the film grossed $ 287 million with a budget of $ 29 million worldwide, Universal rushed to propose Elizabeth return to work on the third part of the popular film series.
