Snyder's Dead will take over Netflix
The premiere of the zombie horror "Army of the Dead" has not yet taken place, and it will probably only happen next year, but the online service Netflix is already building a franchise around the film by Zack Snyder. Apparently, the platform's management is confident in the success of the horror film, since the universe of Army of the Dead will be replenished with a prequel and an anime series.Recall that Snyder's tape tells about a group of mercenaries who are trying to pull off a major robbery in Las Vegas during a zombie apocalypse. The director managed to gather an international cast: Dave Batista, Ella Pernell, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Omari Hardwicke, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garrett Dillahant and many others starred in the horror film. Both new projects will be the backstories for the individual characters of the "Army of the Dead". For example, the full-length prequel will be dedicated to Ludwig Dieter, played by Matthias Schweighefer. The actor himself will lead the shooting of the picture. Zack Snyder is busy preparing the director's cut of Justice League and will therefore limit himself to producing only.  The anime series Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas * will focus on Dave Batista's character Scott and his team as they try to survive in Las Vegas, where a mysterious zombie uprising. Jay Oliva (Batman: Bad Blood) has been chosen as showrunner and director of two episodes. Zack Snyder himself will shoot the same number of episodes.
