Americans will stir up a shrew's nest
Paramount Studio is preparing a surprise for fans of psychological dramas in the spirit of "Misery" and "Black Swan". The Hollywood company has acquired the rights to an English-language remake of the Spanish film Shrew's Nest.The original film by Juan Fernando Andres and Esteban Roel was released in 2014. The thriller was set in the middle of the last century. In the center of the plot are two sisters living as recluses in a small apartment in the center of Madrid. Once a stranger calls at their door, threatening to reveal the secrets of the past ... The film earned rave reviews in the press and received three nominations for the main Spanish film award - "Goya". He lost in the Best Actress and Best Directorial Debut categories, but won the makeup and hairstyle awards.  In the director's chair of the remake, the debutante of the big cinema Rachel Chavkin will be located.
