Apple opened casting for Azimov's Foundation
Apple has made a great gift for science fiction fans. "Apple" company has revealed the names of the first members of the cast of the intriguing television project "Foundation". Work on the adaptation of Isaac Asimov's famous book cycle began in the summer of 2017. In the spring of next year, Apple joined the Skydance project. It looks like the script for the first season is ready and the series is finally entering the casting stage.The Founding cast will be led by two-time Emmy nominee Jared Harris (Terror, Carnival Row) and Golden Globe nominee Lee Pace (The Hobbit, Guardians of the Galaxy). The first will appear in the form of the key character of the seven-volume epic of Asimov - the scientist Gary Seldon, who will invent the science of "psychohistory" and predict the fall of the Empire. Pace will reincarnate as Day's brother, who bears the title of Emperor of the Galaxy. Apparently, the second role was created specifically for the series.
