Sony will expand the Spider-Man universe
Marvel Studios and Sony are keeping the terms of the joint custody deal for Peter Parker under wraps, but all indications are that the superhero franchises are moving closer. It began with the Morbius trailer spotting a guest from the Marvel blockbusters. Then there were rumors of Tom Holland appearing in the Venom sequel. Today Sony has another surprise for fans of the spider universe.The partners are currently preparing for the filming of Spider-Man 3, which will premiere next summer. As it turned out, Sony is preparing another tape about the world of Peter Parker. The mysterious film will hit the screens on October 8, 2021. The studio plans to create a sequel to the Oscar-winning cartoon "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", but its premiere is unlikely to take place before 2022. In this regard, insiders suggest that we are talking about some kind of feature film project - either Madame Web's solo album or a film about Craven the hunter. Sony may also revive the Sinister Six. In that case, the super-villainous team will surely get a cameo in the third Spider-Man.  Let's hope the studio is already preparing an official press release that will reveal the details of the mysterious project.
