Is it time for Tobey Maguire to iron the Spider-Man suit?
A curious rumor came from the Sony camp. The company is thinking about using the plot of the animated hit "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" in one of the upcoming fiction comics.Recall that Sony is involved in the creation of the Marvel universe and in parallel develops its own franchise about Spider-Man. Details of the joint custody of Peter Parker are kept secret. Perhaps the current version of the character cannot go beyond the boundaries of the Marvel world. In this regard, insiders suggest that Sony is using some other superhero wearing a Spiderman costume in its films. The most obvious candidate is Miles Morales, who earned a warm welcome in the aforementioned animated Spider-Man. Rumor has it that Miles will take over the baton from Peter Parker. However, we are not talking about the hero of Tom Holland from the Marvel Universe, but about the character Tobey Maguire from the Spider-Man trilogy. Viewers can get confused about the Spidermen, so Sony will replay part of the Across the Universe storyline and introduce the concept of multiple worlds, which will explain the existence of multiple Parkers.  Insiders believe that this is not about Maguire's humble cameo. The movie will be based on the Death of Spider-Man comic, which means Parker will play an important role in the plot. It seems that the studio will correct the mistakes of the not very successful "Enemy in Reflection" and give the audience a truly bright and touching farewell to the character Toby. The idea of showing Maguire as a mature superhero looks tempting. Moreover, Sam Raimi, the creator of the original spider trilogy, allegedly shows interest in the project.
