Elisabeth Moss is interested in football
The Handmaid's Tale star, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Elisabeth Moss is in talks to join Michael Fassbender on the set of Taiki Waititi's new film Next Goal Wins. The project is a fictional version of the 2014 British documentary of the same name from directors Mike Brett and Steve Jameson.The film will tell about the exploits of the American Samoa football team. Its participants suffered continuous failures on the field for many years, until the Dutch coach Thomas Rongen brought the guys to the level of the World Championship qualifying round. Fassbender is aiming for the role of Rongen, and who Moss will play has not yet been announced. Meanwhile, Taika is preparing to release his "Jojo Bunny", which, alas, will ride past our cinemas.
