Is Ryan Gosling expected in the Marvel Universe?
American paparazzi have shared a curious rumor about a potential new recruit of the MCU. Taika Waititi and Ryan Gosling were caught on their cameras yesterday. There was immediately talk on the Web that the New Zealand director and the Canadian actor had met to discuss a joint project.At the moment Waititi is preparing to work on the sports drama Next Goal Wins based on the 2014 documentary of the same name. Gosling is often featured in projects with moderate budgets, and therefore it is quite possible to imagine him as a performer of one of the leading roles in a film about the exploits of the American Samoa football team. However, most Hollywood insiders are betting on Taiki's next film, the blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman are already attached to the movie comics. Ryan Gosling can now join this stellar company. Some sources claim Waititi sees the two-time Academy Award nominee as some sort of Marvel supervillain.  Officials for Taiki and Ryan have so far refrained from comment. Next Goal Wins will go into production in the coming weeks. Shooting of "Torah 4" is also not far off, as the blockbuster has already received an official premiere date - November 5, 2021.
